OVERVIEW
The Challenge
Eyelecture is a cloud-based learning management platform for ophthalmology training. The challenge was to design a mobile experience that would help medical students continue their courses more easily and effectively — making readings, quizzes, and performance tracking feel intuitive, not clinical. The platform needed to support complex educational content while staying approachable for students already managing a demanding coursework load.
My Approach
Working with a User-Centered Design methodology, I led the UX/UI with a focus on end users (students), ensuring every decision reflected their real needs and context. The process included user research, wireframing, interactive prototyping in Figma, and usability testing to validate and refine the experience before final delivery.

PROCESS
How I got there
User Research
Conducted research sessions to understand how ophthalmology students interact with learning materials — mapping pain points, behaviors, and goals to inform every design decision.
Wireframing & Design
Translated research insights into wireframes and high-fidelity designs in Figma. Defined the core flows: readings, quizzes, and performance dashboard. Built a design system to ensure visual consistency throughout.
Prototyping & Testing
Created interactive prototypes and ran usability testing sessions to validate the experience. Iterated based on feedback before final handoff.
